Game Info

 

Arena of Riches was a hypothetical mobile game that is worked on in a team of 4 as part of a UX module assignment. The objective of the assignment is to use UX tools such as empathy map, personas to draft out the primary, secondary and tertiary target audience. In addition, to create Low-Fidelity & High-Fidelity Prototypes for testing and visualization.

Research & Survey

 

  • Created a survey plan on games and posted on social media to review user stories and develop our target audience in a much lesser biased perspective.
     

  • Built Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Personas based on survey and uses Empathy Map to improve our aim towards the right target audience.
     

  • Develop UX design pillars and worked on the game design document's mobile game's systems and overview of our information architecture. (game flow functionality)

 

  • Research on popular turn-based strategy games to identify and develop intended UI/UX spaces for the game.
     

  • Also developed a colour & feel moodboard for the team to inspire & align the theme to what we want to achieve.

Flowcharts & Wireframes

 

  • Created detailed flowchart using Xmind to list down every possible segment of the game flow.
     

  • Also created a flowchart for the wireframe prototype.

  • Created Wireframes and a mockup prototype using Marvel App to test the core functionality and readability for the game.

Final Sample Product

 

Created High Fidelity Mockup to showcase a few sample of the final visualization of the game.
